The Waipukurau Holiday Park offers a budget-friendly alternative for travellers, whether they are just passing through Central Hawke's Bay or keen to stop over and spend some time exploring the district.

At the end of 2012, a major upgrade began, resulting in a facelift that has transformed the two hectare riverside grounds, accommodation and utilities.

Six cabins have been redecorated in fresh colours, with single and double options, each equipped with a flat-screen Freeview television.

There are two modern,comfortable, self-contained units complete with full kitchen facilities, including microwave, hot plate and electric frypan, and wet-floor bathroom.

Like the cabins, the units have Freeview flat-screen televisions.

Vouchers for  Wi-Fi are available to guests in the Holiday Park.

For those who are camping or making use of one of the 26 powered sites, there is a large, new kitchen with multiple hot plates, a laundry and communal lounge.

"It's perfect for people who are in the area for special events or work, or who are holding functions and have an overflow of people they need to accommodate".

There are also caravans available for on-site hire.

Situated on State Highway 2 by Tukituki River, this convenient location is an ideal gateway to the many attractions in Central Hawke's Bay and beyond.
